Tks in advance Main menu, mark waypoint, save and edit, change location, (edit it), press the green check mark. Change name if you want, if not, press the red cross to return to main menu. Then : Where to, waypoints, select the one you just created. Quote Link to comment

Does it matter which "Profile" I'm in, i.e. Geocaching, Automotive, Recreational, etc. Quote Link to comment
+Wagonmaker
No, doesn't matter what Profil you're in. There's actually a way faster way: Main menu, Where To, Coordinates, (enter coords), green check mark. Done, the map and compass are now navigating to your coords. Quote Link to comment

That is so much easier It must have been added in a firmware release, I don't recall seeing this originally, but I just verified on my 300 and sure enough it is there. I took a look at the owner's manual, they show the Where To screen without Coordinates button. Glad Garmin saw fit to add this one. Now, if they'd only make the compass arrow fatter, like the x50 arrow... Quote Link to comment
