freespirit444
Found a "Proud To Be An American, Land of the Free" wooden geocoin. Set out by the McMorrows. There is no web site other then the geocaching listed and no tracking number. I looked through the geocoin designs and tried to search both the McMorrows and Proud to be an American but I cannot find it to log it. What should I do? Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
Does it say 'Track at geocaching.com'? Quote Link to comment
LadyBee4T
Welcome to the forums! If it doesn't say "track at geocaching.com" and is wooden more than likely it is their sig wooden nickel and would be yours to keep or do with it as you wish. There is a thread here about trading wooden nickels also Quote Link to comment
Droo
Wooden nickels are signature items... sigitems for short.... and can be swag, collectables or tradeables.... or leavables!! Sorry, couldn't resist being smarta**! Nice of you to check to Forums for clarification. No question is a dumb question except the one not asked. Quote Link to comment
freespirit444
Thank you to everyone! No it is not a trackable wooden coin. Just a signature. One more lesson learned!! I think it is really cool and I have seen 3 more so I think I will hold onto this one. :-) Edited April 6, 2010 by freespirit444 Quote Link to comment
