I am working on a project to list the benchmarks closest to whole degree latitude/longitude confluences. I started it without knowing about the Degree Confluence Project, but have found it recently at www.confluence.org. The DCP seeks the exact point of confluence, my list only seeks the closest benchmark. It makes for an interesting list, some come very close to the actual confluence, some are miles away. I am about 50% done with the 48 states. When done, I am hoping that I can post it somewhere and we can track how many of them get visited. How many of you are interested in this?
