+munchtime Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 After finding 24 caches I have noticed some odd words entering my vocabulary. I now have a GeoBike instead of a bike, a GeoBag instead of a Day Pack, a GeoCoat instead of a Coat! Does this mean soon I will have GeoKids & GeoWife? I'm gonna draw a line at a GeoDog tho Quote
+Mosaic55 Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) I've caught myself wishing I still owned my old Geo tracker http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Geo...cker_2-Door.jpg just because of the name. Edited April 3, 2010 by Mosaic55 Quote

+WRASTRO Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 We have our Geowagon and Geovan. And you will find lots of Geotrash as you search for caches. Quote
+ventura_kids Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Soon you will be known to all who know you....as.... The Geocacher Quote

+simpjkee Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I sometimes call my geobag my 'Geocaching Man Purse'. I'm not positive, but I think it is European. Quote
+leejas72 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Out caching today my son brought his girlfriend. My youngest (8yr old) said look, they're the geocouple. Ok, I thought I was bad with my Geobag, geomobile, Geodog Ike, and my Geocache Stash...swag. Quote
sabrefan7 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) I often take the Goemobilecommandpost to State Parks to Geocache Edited April 4, 2010 by sabrefan7 Quote
+SgtSue Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I have geobuddies and often go on geotrips. On occasion I've even been known to take a geovacation, that is if I can fit it into my geobudget. Quote
+J the Goat Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I, on occasion, have laced up the geoboots and gone with my geobuddies to find treasure. I'm still working on that one... Geobag Geomobile Geosnacks (to keep the geokids occupied) Quote
+KarateNeko2 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hey, after finding 52 caches you may start to realize that just about everything goes geo! Geowaterbottle Geobag GeoGPS Geoshoes Geopapers Geopens Geohat Geobike Geostick ECT! Quote
+brslk Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I've even heard of a cache whore... but have yet to meet one. Quote
+briansnat Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 It gets bad. After the geonames, you'll find that you can't pass by the food saver isle in the supermarket without checking to see if any Lock n Locks are on sale. You can't open a jar without sizing up it's potential as a geocache container. You can't pass a hollow tree without thinking that it might be a good place for a cache and you can't pass by a patch of woods without wondering who owns it and if it would be OK to put a cache there. Quote
+Knight2000 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Weird. We have never used any of those or any "geo" words except geocache. Seriously. Quote
NordicMan Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) Be careful if you're a young family & discovered Geocaching,, you want to be real cautious with newborns. Don't make naming decisions you (or the kids!) may later regret "Wake up Swag, Muggle! It's time for school!" Edited April 4, 2010 by NordicMan Quote
+The Cache Checkers Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I always go caching with my geodog, Kit. But my kids are just my kids. LOL We found a Real GEO-Cache hide yesterday in N. Michigan. It actually had a GEO hubcap attached to the lid. Quote
+Leleboo_05 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I've caught myself wishing I still owned my old Geo tracker http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Geo...cker_2-Door.jpg just because of the name. I wonder if that increases chances of finding hard caches... Time to trade in the geofocus! I often take the Goemobilecommandpost to State Parks to Geocache Command post....i love it!! Quote
+DN_Chip Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Oh no! We did it wrong! Now I have to rename my swagbag to a geobag and my cachestash box to a geobox. That's ok, after 25 finds, we are definitely still noobs! We'll learn! Quote
+Tobias & Petronella Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Just wait till you refer to a fake rock hide as a Geo-rock. Quote

+BCSasquatch Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I have made a determined effort to not spout geo-words, but I admit it has been tough sometimes. I am guilty however, of observing pretty much everything in nature with the thought that it may or may not make a good hiding spot. I briefly started calling muggle dogs - doggles, but thankfully I have broken that nasty habit too. Quote
