I Thought it would be fun to see how many fellow geocachers discover the tb on my dog's collar. Is that allowed? I got the idea when I saw tags on patches and car stickers.

Yes, it's fine. (As long as your dog agreed to it, obviously )

 

Here in UK there are a lot of geocaching dogs, many of them are also TBs and some have their own geocaching accounts too.

Of course this is allowed. There are special dog collars which you can buy. After all, a TB is a dog-tag.

If you get a Travel Bug collar, does it not keep Travel Bugs away? Flea collars do, same thing for Tick collars.

I don't have a caching dog but if I did he would definitely have his own personal TB, and cache logging account as well.

 

Just remember - dogs are not trade items!

There's no rule that forbids putting a Travel Bug on a dog but if you tried to put your dog in a cache-- actually, there's nothing in the guidelines prohibiting that...

Dogs are not trade items, but if you must trade them, trade up, trade even, or don't trade at all!

Yes, you can make your dog trackable (disclaimer: this doesn't mean you'll find him if he gets lost or runs away, unless another cacher is the one to find him.)
