kilroy01
I signed up for an account under my nickname a while back just to check out geocaching. My son quickly became interested and we have started doing it together as a team. We are still new and have only logged 13 so far. He wants his own account so that we can each cache on our own when we have the chance. Would it be appropriate to let him sign up and then backdate logs for the caches we have done together onto his account so that he has a complete history? Just didn't want to upset any CO's by logging old visit Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
No problem, just explain in the log. eg "Found with kilroy01, now have my own account" Quote Link to comment

But there might always be "the one" who has a problem with everything. Just do it! GermanSailor Quote Link to comment
ao318
I did the same things with my daughters a couple years ago but we did it after we found 100 caches. They wanted their own 100 finds achievement coin when I mentioned getting one. Quote Link to comment
