Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve

Hi,

We have found a great cache location in a Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve near our home. Could someone confirm if we are allowed to put a cache in a Nature Reserve. I suspect not but thought we should confirm.

Contact the Wildlife Trust and ask them! There are caches on county WT reserves. You will need to demonstrate to the reviewer that you have permission.

Hi Nick & Morgan,

 

Yes you can have a cache in a Nature Reserve.

 

However - when you submit the cache, you will need to add a reviewer note with the details or copy of an email of who has given permission from the wildlife trust.

It might also be worth looking at the GAGB website to see if there is permissions already in place. You can also use these as a reference when you contact your local organisation.

I recently had two caches refused when I asked permission .... I was told previously that most get allowed. Looks like times are-a-changing!
