DeLorme PN-20

I want to start geocaching with my wife but I can't seem to find where and how to set coordinates into my DeLorme Earthmate PN-20. Please help!! I also would like to know how to add multiple coordinates for a couple geocaches. thanks

After plugging the GPSr into the computer and turning it on, Click on the "Send to GPS" button on the top of the page you want to send. The first time you do this, you will get a message telling you that the proper plugin was not found and give you the option to install it. After you install it, you should be able to send the coordinates with no problems.

Without a premium membership, you will only get the name and GC# of the cache. With a premium membership, you will be able to receive the cache description, the last few logs, and hints as well. Plus you can do pocket queries and use a program called Cache Register to easily load many caches into your Delorme at once.

If you had a premium membership so you could run pocket querieis, you could get DeLorme's Cache Register for $10. It's a nice little app that makes loading caches to your DeLorme a snap.

What TomToad said with one caveat. You'll need to make sure your PN-20 has the latest firmware update for those things to work properly. You can get the update (1.6) here.

to manually input a waypoint, hit the magnifying glass button on the bottom right.

 

then scroll up to the coordinates, hit enter to edit them, change the coordinate numbers, then hit enter, scroll down to save, and navigate to it
