Yes, congrats to OhJoy on the really big 4K. See both of you at the Spring Fling. I expect that Shop99er will have their 2K this weekend in Spokane. Dick

Even though she doesn't read this, I'm giving a south sound shout out.

Congratulations OhJoy on your 4000th!!!

yesterday at Dead Horses over Lakeridge

Way to go Joy. Not only was that cache number 4000 for you, it happened to be my very first find back in January 2003. It has been around a long time.

Hopefully I will have 1200 along with Shop99ers 2000. I only need 64! :D

Hawk, when I see you with a big grin at the Spring Fling, will it be because you will have your 1200 or sampling of the good stuff.

Maybe a little of both :)

Congrats to Shop99er for reaching the Really Big 2K. I assume he did it at the Spokane CM. In fact he is way over 2K. I also assume that Hawk also made his 1200 find and is well on the way to 2K by the end of the year.

Also a big congrats to Rick, Geodiver for not only winning a very nice Garmin but also getting his 1200 find. Just remember Rick, the Spring Fling is for you to do your job on the GPS Accuracy Game field and NOT to celebrate your success at the Cache Machine. Well, maybe just a little sampling of the good stuff would be OK.

In fact, -Hawk- made his 1200 at the SCM. Good for you, Scoob.

And, during the weekend, GeoDiver hit 1200, Bunygrl hit 2000, Ruck hit 3100, and Team Noltex hit 1000

What a blast SCM was. Congrats to all of you who capped some great numbers this weekend!!

Ohjoy hit 4100 on the SCM, and I ended up hitting 800 on the way over, then came up 5 short of 900 by the time I got home 3 days later. Think I may make the Fling the 900th if I can show some restraint. B)

WoW!1!

A lot of cachers hit milestones last weekend up here in lil old Spokane!

Congratulations to everyone!

That means you, too, Ogeo (800) and ISplash (700)!

It was the penguin coin, wasn't it. We just remembered. I'll get that sent to you as soon as I find it.

Yes, I would like to congratulate everyone that had a milestone this weekend also.

I would especially like to congratulate Lookout Lisa and Allanon on their milestones. It was great getting together with you after dinner for a beer, which I thought tasted particularly good!

Congratulations!

And a big WOO HOO to everyone who hit milestones, major or minor, during the fabulous SCM2 weekend!

(My pals the Barnabirdy(s) snapped this pic while we were waiting for my flat tire - yes, another one - to be fixed after the event....)

Not a numbers milestone, but.... I just completed Bruce Bjornstad's Missoula Flood geology series, one of my goals for the summer. If you haven't done any of them, this is an amazing cache series that takes you to key geological remnants of the Ice Age floods that shaped Eastern Washington. Some are relatively easy, some require fairly physical hikes in desert terrain. But they are all very cool, with some amazing views (Wallula Gap!).

In looking at the logs, I discovered I'm only the 2nd person to complete the 10-cache series in the 2.5 years they've been out. Woot! (Belated congrats to ricksto, who was FTF on the series a year ago.)

But Summer hasn't even started yet.

I guess you'll have to come up with a new Summer goal.

Dunno. It's been hours, and still no 4000th find for FunnyNose! So, I guess I'll have to congratulate him on his 3999th find. The slacker! Must be stuck in the mud somewhere!

It was interesting to escort him on most of his 151 cache marathon in New Jersey and New York. Danged bird wore me out! (Most caches I've done in a week.)

So, congrats FN where ever you are!
