Turn off already downloaded caches

OK that's great. At least I know not to look any further for an answer. :)

Is the motivation for this so that you know not to send it to your GPSr again if it is already there?

No clean solution to this - especially since behavior might depend on the GPSr you have. But you can work around the problem if you use 3rd party tools like GSAK to manage your offline database.

I've been sending things to my garmin twice, and it just overwrites the first one, no problem.

How can Google Maps tell which Geocaches you have downloaded to your GPSr?

If it can hide the ones you have found I assume it can hide the ones you have downloaded? or maybe not thats why I am asking.

Thanks

Excellent - I was wondering if it had this function> Would anyone be kind enough to tell me how to enable it?

Many thanks

Thanks for info. I think I have it figured out now. To download multiple caches I have set up a pocket query and I can also upload a field notes text file from my garmin oregon 300 which lets me review and log all the finds since my last upload.

Thanks once again to you all
