H--Group
We have found 4 smaller benchmarks that look to be on stainless rods and about one and a half inch in diameter. Labled DWD (possibly Denver Water Department or District) with LS and 5 digit number. All have witness posts. We have pictures I will send if anyone is familiar with these. Quote Link to comment
survey tech
Sounds like very recent points, bearing the id # of the land surveyor. They will probably not appear in any national database. Quote Link to comment
Z15
Could be property markers? Sounds like the Surveyors initails and his license number. Quote Link to comment
H--Group
These small benchmarks are along a new road and all are less than 100 feet apart. Two of them are within three feet of each other. The 5 digits after the LS are all different. All have orange witness posts four feet high. Very easy to see. I have 4 JPGs of these marks. survey tech
If you are saying that they are running parallel to the road, and they are all the same distance from the road, then they are probably a type of right-of-way marker. If the numbers on them are all different, then that number is probably just a computer point number, although it is unusual to find this number stamped on a point. If the number includes a decimal point, it could be the elevation of each point in either feet or meters. Quote Link to comment
+GEO*Trailblazer 1
L.S. Licensed Surveyor,RLS Registered Licensed Surveyor, the numbers are their state I.D. numbers and can be found in the Local County Courthouse Survey records. This is probably where two adjoining properties/and surveys come together within 3 feet it sounds like. When all else fails Geotry again. Quote Link to comment
