Dontworryaboutme
Can anyone tell me either online or a store that sells Delorme GPS Quote Link to comment
+Pax42
Amazon.com usually has the best prices on the PN-40 and 30. Don't know if your hit with any extra fees for Canada though. I think several Canadian PN owners on the forums mentioned having it shipped to a friend or relative in the U.S. Quote Link to comment
+t4e
yeah you would have to pay duty and brokerage they don't seem to be sold in canada Quote Link to comment

+missionMode
Can anyone tell me either online or a store that sells Delorme GPS Actually they just plain won't ship to Canada nor will their partners. Glad to see GPSCity has the 60. Hopefully they start to carry the other models as well. I had mine shipped to a parcel depot at the border because I am only 1 hour away. Note that some Canada Customs policies have changed in the past month. You can no longer have a courier or a friend pick it up and bring it back across the border for you. The invoice it was purchased under must have the name of the person who is claiming it at customs as they cross the border. Quote Link to comment

Isn't there a loophole where, if the item being transported can be considered "used", you're in the clear? have your friend pick it up, open up the box, & power on long enough to get a fix. There - the GPS is now a used item. Or did that get closed? Quote Link to comment
+tec_64
Can you get Canadian maps for it??????? Quote Link to comment

+missionMode
And more maps (aerials, etc.) coming in May for an unknown cost. I'm not a big fan of the Manitoba topo now that I have it installed, but the regional street map that comes with the unit (its on the 4th DVD) is pretty good. Quote Link to comment
