+Agent Okie
My daughter and I started benchmarking casually about a month ago. We looked around our hometown of Claremore, OK, but did not locate any. We did find a few replaced locations where the markers should have been. We took a trip Saturday and Sunday to Arkansas City, Ks for a wedding. While there this morning we searched for 7 of the easier markers. We actually found 5 of the 7. I posted them and they are in the gallery. The milk association stack has been torn down & swimming pool is in its place. The other one we could not find because it was on private property and I could not find the owner. It was still fun and we have renewed our interest in BM. Check out our finds. We had a blast trying to find them! I will be adding a signature soon! Quote Link to comment
+beejay&esskay
Welcome to the world of benchmarking. quote:Originally posted by Agent Okie:The milk association stack has been torn down & swimming pool is in its place. It can encourage others to find that property owner to find that mark on private property, or to understand why a stack cannot be found. Also, since we all know a "not found" will normally take more effort that a "found", you might as well have some credit for the work you've done... Quote Link to comment
