+purplywurply
I am just about to create 3 new geocaches, all with Travel Bugs. How do I ensure the TBs appear on the inventory as soon as the cache is published? Link to comment
+baloo&bd
I am just about to create 3 new geocaches, all with Travel Bugs. How do I ensure the TBs appear on the inventory as soon as the cache is published? As the owner, you can put them in the cache prior to publication via a log as you normally would. +Gitchee-Gummee
You can log a "note", place the TB, then delete the note. The TB remains. Link to comment

You can even drop them into an unpublished cache. As soon as everybody can view the cache they will be able to see the bugs in the inventory. Link to comment

+Delta68
There is actually a good reason not to log trackables into new caches until after they have been published Link to comment

I thought you were asking if there was a way to have the bug automatically listed when the cache is published, since, as mentioned, it is NOT a good idea to list it before the cache is published. This would be a nice feature, but right now you can't do it. Actually, though, all you risk is someone being pleasantly surprised by finding an unlisted bug or coin before you get a chance to add it.
