+CacheDrone Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 For those that may not have seen it, please note Geocaching.com will be going down at 8 PM Pacific Time (GMT -8) today for approximately 4 hours. Updates will be posted to the Groundspeak forums or you can follow us on Twitter to receive an immediate update when the site is back online. This means all Cache Pages and features like PQ's, Insta-Notify, and all reviewing will be unavailable during that period. Quote
+Tequila Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 They should have made it 8 EST and then the reviewers could watch the hockey game instead of publishing caches. Thanks for the heads up. Quote
+The Blue Quasar Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 It appears to have been pushed back to today at 11am PST... There was a hockey game? Sorry, I was watching LOST. BQ Quote
7rxc Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 It appears to have been pushed back to today at 11am PST... There was a hockey game? Sorry, I was watching LOST. BQ See that as well, but there were notes on the status of the first sessions progress and RTS status. So maybe something ugly reared it's head... or they forgot something, like needing to sleep. Only TIME will tell! Doug Quote
+Tequila Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I was watching LOST. Another piece of the puzzle falls into place. Last night's upgrade did indeed take place but I think it was more of a hardware upgrade to increase capacity. This afternoon's outage is the regular monthly functionality/fix implementation. Quote
