out&back touch screen"touchy"

I just started in this game and bought a Lowrance out&back.I love the units performance and features.But.The touch screen can be a pain when you put the unit in your pocket or in a case because you inevitably "touch" the screen.I was out cachin yesterday and once in a while I would stick the unit in my pocket only to remove a few moments later to find the screen had "navigated" away from where i had left it.I would like to see a feature in the settings to disable the touch screen when I dont need it,when wearing gloves in the winter and such.Has anyone else had this problem?

You can disable touchscreen and keys temporarily by pressing + & - simultaneously. Reactivate it by pressing the same keys together again.

Thanx alot! I looked all through my manual and still find no reference to this.Did you find this in the manual or other source?

Look on your Quick Guide (the 2-page-paper), there you can find this.

 

Zoom out/Zoom in — Used to change the map scale.

Press both keys together for device lock/unlock.
