+londontavern
After doing an area search in geocaching.com home page, cache listings for that area are then displayed. In the 'Placed' column of a listing page there is occasionally a 'new' icon shown to highlight a newly placed cache. My question is:- for how long is this icon/highlight shown. If the cache owner submits it more that a week after placing, without changing it, and without the reviewer changing it, it won't show as 'New' What a way to fool the FTF hounds! +londontavern
Thanks everybody. It certainly wasn't from a FTF point of view, more a case of making a list of caches to visit whilst on my travels and then being able to quickly scan the search pages for any that have been newly placed, just before I go. But now that you've mentioned it, where I am going there are 2 or 3 FTF's just waiting to be claimed and getting a FTF onto my finds list would be nice. Oh! dear perhaps it's time to take the plunge and become a premium member. Quote Link to comment
