Geocaching Loss

Just want to say that JBBNASAKID AKA Daniel passed away on Valentine's Day morning. He was a great friend, a confidant, and a geocaching lover. Even if he was new to caching he love the entire concept. Daniel, to you I say you might be gone, but you will never be forgotten.

The link is to San Jose Mercury but I had a bit of trouble getting to it. For anyone who's interested, it mentioned a traffic accident on 2/14/10 on San Tomas Expressway at 6:30 a.m. A SUV rolled over and it was the only vehicle involved. There were no passengers.

the OP is a friend of mine as well, and a geocaching buddy.

 

We had a large gathering of friends on monday where we set a memorial at the park right next to the crash site.

 

I had posted in another thread about "distance" for setting a cache there, but it seems like it'll be a bit of work since it's 250' from another cache. (convo in other topic).

 

Dan was a good friend of mine, a geocaching buddy, and a part of the subaru community of friends.

Aw man.....the pictures make it even more personal. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, ya'll. Even more so that he was just a young man. I'm sure that he was full of energy and enjoyed caching.
