I am trying to upload field notes. I tried uploading from my PN-30. I chose the file, clicked upload, it then said '0 files uploaded'

 

I then copied the file to my computer and tried to upload from the computer and same results?

I've noticed this occurs when there are certain characters in the field notes. I've overcome this by putting the PN in map transfer mode and go to the memory the fieldnotes are in, edit, then copy and paste the comments into the log. I haven't taken the time to determine what those blocking characters are yet.

One other thing I learned about uploading field notes, from my PN-40, was that you need the whole GC#. I used to have on my 60CSX just the parts after the GC# to save room on the screen and I set up my PN-40 the same way initially to receive the coordinates from GSAK. I then changed my GSAK setting for the PN-40 back to the default, which included the whole GC# including the GC part.

 

I just follow the directions from the GC.com website and all seems to work fine for me now.
