billG888
How can I download multiple caches in a given area without having to do it one at a time? Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
First off, welcome to the forums. You're best bet is premium membership and Pocket Queries Quote Link to comment
+t4e
become Premium Member, for $30/year, and you can run Pocket Queries that will contain 500 caches Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Yes. You need Premium membership to run "Pocket Queries", downloading 500 caches five times per 24 hr period. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Pocket Queries allow you to download up to 500 caches at a time with all the cache page details (including logs, hints, descriptions, size etc) using criteria you specify either in an area or along a route. You can do that up to 5 times per day. Result file is emailed to you. $30 is pretty cheap membership for that ability. Quote Link to comment
4x4van
Amazing. 4 answers, and not one of them told him the full truth. Yes, you can, without being a Premium member. If you do a search for caches, the page comes up with a list, starting with the ones closest to your search location. On the right hand side of the screen are boxes for each cache. Mark the box of each cache you want downloaded, and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download Waypoints. Keep in mind that if you are a regular member, the cache information will only include the waypoint name and coordinates in a .loc file, which is sufficient to load into your GPS & go caching. Premium members, however, get a .gpx file with much more info, such as hints, terrain & difficulty, etc. Edited February 6, 2010 by 4x4van Quote Link to comment

Answer #5 telling something new: Premium Membership is the way to go. You get a free 30 trial with every new bought (better newly registered) garmin unit here. Don't waste this free month!
