+rambrush Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) the question is are you driving from Utah picking up caches along the way or just in Havasu and do you have a 4x4? 225 might work Edited February 5, 2010 by rambrush
+gardengorilla Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I'm gonna guess high, since I will be 35 on the 11th...how about 350?

+rambrush Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I guess I could turn on the gps and take a look at how many there are in the area, but I have done quite a bit of them.

+goosefraba1 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 238 finds... 9 dnfs... And 1 heck of a roadtrip! Man I would love to take a road trip... I'm so jealous. Guess I will just have to watch the superbowl.
Uneek Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I hope you have a great trip. By the way this is where I grew up, I actually remember watching the London Bridge being built. LOL. There is quite a bit of variability to how many you will pick up and will depend quite a bit on your off road access (4x4). I will give you a good guess and say that you will get a good run at the in town ones and maybe a couple of the closer off road ones. I will toss my guess at 112.
+buymyemu Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Hey, if you can, please update your totals daily.....
+balkamper13 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Wow we have our work cut out for us dont we. Looks like most of them think we are going to get over 200. I think thats a pretty good range to guess in. Hopefully this rental car holds up a little better than our last one did. Im glad you picked a 4x4 this time that charger was not to cacher friendly.
+DaFunkyFrogs Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 good luck & have fun.........an even 300...

That charger wasn't a 4x4 that was meant to be taken off roads Try not to break this rental car. Oh and make sure someone lays off the gas pedal a bit...

Yeah I dont want to hear Mikey cry about getting another ticket That Charger did ok off road after we took off a few unnecessary pieces. Wish you were coming along with us I had a great time with you guys on our last trip. Edited February 7, 2010 by tjc852
daveindeal Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 there will be 5760 minuets during your visit, if you cache 24 hours a day. so i think that 258 finds whould be about right if you average 1 find every 22 minuets this will equal out if you include sleeping and travelling compared to time saved on the cache and dash's and also several at on location.
+Doctor A Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I'll guess 188, just because 8 is my favorite number!
kdlutz41 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I am going to guess....177.....hope you have a wonderful time, with great weather...
+rambrush Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 the dnf's is a thought to consider. there bus stop cache series can be tough to find as well as the home depot cache.
+buymyemu Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 OK, end of day 1 (at least it would be for me), how many did you get today?
+Fobos09 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) Hopefully I got this in on time. 125 Edited February 12, 2010 by Fobos09
+fuzziebear3 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Wow, I never get that many. I would say 89.
+labrat_wr Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I'm thinking this is a mission trip to make the 6500 cache find mark so let's say 276 caches ambitious numbers but doable in that area given the number available Good Luck and have a safe trip! thanks for the cointest
