+The PITZ
We're going to Portugal this year on holiday & i've checked to see if there are any caches within a reasonable distance of our resort but understandably all the cache details are in Portugese. Is there part of the Geocaching website where caches can be translated. Feedback appreciated please. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
The geocaching.com website cannot translate foreign text for you. But bablefish does a decent enough job to allow you to find the cache. You might also contact a local cache owner who does have his translated into English and ask them for an assist. +StarBrand
This Microsoft site is pretty decent at translations as well: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/ Quote Link to comment

There's at least one Portugese geocacher who posts here, and likely more if you check the regional forums. Quote Link to comment
+Odie442
I agree an online translator would be good also. I think there is an app now for the iPhone for it too. We are headed to Bermuda in June and I plan on taking my eTrex Vwnture HC with me and getting all 54 on the islands. Only going to be on the island for 32 hours so time will not be on my side. +Buggheart
If there are only a few, you might be able to hit up the concierge at your hotel for a little translation assistance. Quote Link to comment
+gearhedd
The coordinates are all you really need. Other then multi caches, puzzles and HINTS. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, who needs useless instructions like, "The park is only open until dark; you'll get arrested if caught there after hours," or, "don't park (location) or your vehicle will get towed!" +londontavern
Went to Majorca and Gran Canaria last year and used Google translate http://www.google.co.uk/language_tools?hl=en and had good results. Also used it to translate the logs (spanish/ german / dutch / swedish) which was really useful. Quote Link to comment
