+Georgiathunder
Hi fellow Geocachers! I'm new to Geocaching (16 finds so far) and I love it. This is so much fun. I decided to order a Geocoin that I will keep and dip into every cache I find to have a nice log for myself. My question is regarding past finds. Can I go back to the 16 finds I had before I got my coin and post a note to dip my coin or would this not be acceptable? Thanks for your answers. Quote Link to comment
+The VanDucks
I don't know if there's any rule about doing that, but as a cache owner I would have no problem with someone doing that at our caches, as long as they had actually found the cache. You may be able to edit each original log to drop the coin in and out. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Post-date dipping of a personal geocoin, or TB for that matter, is generally considered acceptable to most. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Post a Note to drop the coin. Retrieve the coin. Delete the note. The history remains. Then, when you get up to date, drop the coin with the Found log as you write it. Quote Link to comment

Just post a Note using the date you found the cache to Drop the coin and briefly explain what you are doing. Once you post you will immediately get an option to delete the Note. Deleting it will not affect the coin tracking logs. Quote Link to comment
