+glædeby Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 We had a discussion on the danish geocaching forum, about how many danish geocachers there is, but we dont have any numbers of that kind, so i decided to ask here, how many registrated danish geocachers there is at www.geocaching.com ? Im only 14 years old so sorry about the bad gramma . Quote
+StarBrand Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 The company generally holds such information private and does not release it. Quote
+wiseye Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Your gramma is just fine, in fact, better then many who post here regularly. Happy hunting! Quote
+hydnsek Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 We have a Danish family of cachers who moved here (Seattle area, Washington state) last year; they are a lot of fun. And I taught some Danish friends to geocache while visiting them in Aarhus in 2006. But that's all I know. I'm more familiar with Danish orienteers. Quote

+KevJaxFL Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Your gramma is just fine, in fact, better then many who post here regularly. Happy hunting! I met a cacher from Aarhus, while I was stationed in Bahrain. Sad part was that I didn't realize this until after we had both parted ways and returned home to our home countries. Usually, our interaction with each other involved our work and the subject of geocaching never arose. I was later reviewing logs for caches in Bahrain and saw some of his log entries as returning to Denmark. I then put the pieces together from there. I also visited Aarhus when my ship visited there in 1988. A very beautiful city... Quote
knowschad Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 On 2nd thought, I do have to admit that "registrated" is a pretty interesting and unusual word. I sure hope it never happens to me!! Quote
+pppingme Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Not a straight answer, but here is a good indication: http://www.cacherstats.com/Denmark1.html Looks like a little over 1000 have found at least 200 caches. These stats don't include anyone that has found fewer than 200. Quote
