andydj Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I like to think its like most things, you get only get out what you put in ! Quote
+Fiver1 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 For the most part, I don't pay a lot of attention to the swag (junk?) found in most caches. If something strikes me, I'll trade for it and eventually leave it in another cache so someone else can share the joy. I don't keep anything from caches. Unfortunately, in my area micros seem to have taken over. Not the same as it was 5 or 6 years ago. Quote
+Kacher The Dog Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I have had a batch of badges made up with our logo & name on; this goes into the cache with another general geocaching badge that we bought. It's a shame when you have gone to the effort of filling a new container & have it all wiped out (& not replaced with anything!) The worst thing we found in a cache was a mouldy biscuit! Quote
+LuckyPair Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 We are new to caching, and we really enjoy the "treasures"! It is a bit like Christmas morning. In fact, on our first find, we took a small, cheap wooden christmas ornament, like from a big set. It was awesome. We love Christmas and were so happy to now have that as part of our mass of Christmas ornaments! Yes, a lot of times there are a bunch of stickers and business cards, but I guess sometimes you have to remember that one man's trash is another man's treasure. That small frog figurine that I no longer wanted may make someone's day! Quote
