How do i change to font and text colour in the cache notes ?

Hi

I am able to change the colour/test in my profile without any problems but this does not seem to work when applied to any cache notes that I right when logging finds etc.

Does anyone know where I am going wrong?

In cache logs, you use the same sort of code that is used here in the forums.

 

Example:

 

[red]I found this cache.[/red]

Ugg... please limit how many colors you use in your logs. It might seem fun, but it's often obnoxious and it can have the side effect of making your text harder to read for the sight impaired. Not to mention making it harder to read on devices that don't render the code... such as GPSrs.

Yeah, when a log is sent to the owner or watchers, for instance, the color doesn't show, you just see the code.

 

I use color and links in my some of my bookmark lists, but I figure that's ok, as that is mostly going to be seen on a computer.

It's fine in moderation, but something like this is dang near impossible to read:
