+Atropos3
There have to be a lot of Geocachers in this area because there are over 250 caches within 5 miles of my home....but when I did a search on meetup.com hoping to find a local group I see that the nearest group is nowhere near. Are there other ways to find local geocaching groups? Quote Link to comment

+Fox_Trot
that meetup group website it awesome, BUT not everything is on there. I had heard about many certain dog breed groups and when i went looking, nothing....so its kind of like finding a great apartment in a city where nothing is available....word of mouth? +Rick618
Check the cache pages, often the person will promote their local group. Go to an event and meet the locals. Scroll through the list of groups by state at the head of this forum. Quote Link to comment
+nittany dave
http://www.ggaonline.org/ Good luck with that. I used to have an id there but it must have been deleted through lack of use. I tried to sign up a couple weeks ago and still haven't had my id approved by an admin. Quote Link to comment

Also make sure you have field out all necessary fields. Thanks for being patient. Quote Link to comment
