Somehow on my GPSmap 60CSx I never have the option to choose off road. It doesn't give me the option to do the bushwacking. Surely I'm missing a setting somewhere. Help! Quote Link to comment

Chumpo Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) Enter the "Setup" menu, then select "Routing". Make sure that the guidance method at the very top is set to "Prompted". That will allow you to choose which method you want to use every time. Hmm. 5 minutes too late. I should have hit submit before I went out to get the garbage can. I knew it was something simple. And it not being an online manual I just had to hunt and peck through it looking for "off road" Didn't think to look for "routing". Thanks again, both of you.
