Colorado 300 question

Hi everyone, I'm completly new to handheld GPS and geocaching (haven't started yet, but looking forward to enjoy outdoor time with the family).

I've purchaced a Colorado 300 ( $299 at CT plus the Ontario Toponav topo map from Radioworld) and I was wondering if anyone knows if Toponav Ontario supports 3-D DEM viewing?

Also would anyone know of any links on how to use advanced features of a handheld GPS?

Thank you in advance,

John

Toponav maps do not support DEM. But they are still the most detailed maps available for Ontario. 1:10,000

You can get DEM by putting on Garmin Topo Canada Version 4. The shaded relief and 3D views will work while you are using other maps such as the Toponav maps. You enable both maps and the Toponav "should" be visible with the shaded relief at the same time.
