WIIarefamily
When I run my stats it states that I have X number of finds at X different geocaches. Why or what is the difference? I'm sure I am supposed to know this but.... Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment

Touchstone
More than likely you have two or more Finds on a single Listing. The most obvious culprit is a moving cache. Most of the time folks log a Find when they pick that grandfathered type of cache up. I typically post one Find and then Notes afterwards just to reduce the confusion. Quote Link to comment

This could be for several reasons. The owner may have moved or changed the hide and allowed a second log, or you could mistakenly logged a second time. I Believe the message reads: "WIIarefamily has xxx finds on XXX unique geocaches". Quote Link to comment
WIIarefamily
I didn't want to put the XXX... I am a family man after all. I guess this could be referring to a couple of caches that were archived that have now been revived as new caches. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
mr007s
If you happen to be a user of GSAK there is a macro that will scan your "found caches database" for multiple logs by you. Quote Link to comment

WIIarefamily
I use GCStatistic for Mac. Where do I find the macro? Quote Link to comment
Ejadis
I thought the difference is because of the DNFs...? Quote Link to comment
WIIarefamily
That can't be the case, I have a WHHHOOOOLLLLLLLLEEEEE lot more DNF's then that. I think it could be because we have had some caches in our area archived and another was place in it's spot. I am removing a log of one of these a will see if that fixes the problem. Trouble is I can not run another "My Finds" query for a week, I will be ale to report back about this in a week. Quote Link to comment

trondkj
I use GCStatistic for Mac. Where do I find the macro? I don't think you can expect to run a macro made for GSAK to run on GCStatistic for Mac. I use Mac as you, but I run windows under vmware and use GSAK for the statistic. How do you register FTFs when you use GCStatistic? Quote Link to comment
WIIarefamily
How do you register FTFs when you use GCStatistic? After importing the GPX file, click next, check Cachelists then create you FTF file. You have to manually select them but after the first time you only have to select new FTF's. I hope this helps.
