Is there an app for the Nokia 5800 phone to help with geocaching?

If you have AT&T, it looks like Geocache Navigator supports the Nokia 5800.

You can add Garmin Mobile XT to the Nikia 5800

It then function like a Nüvi and you can use the Nüvi macro found in this forum to add cache to the phone.

 

You can use it for cacheing but its much better to have a dedicated unit like Oregon

I've used the Geocaching Live Beta on my 5800 now since last summer. Works fine and is free.

Note the 5800 isnt listed in the short blurb - but just about every other nokia phone and more running Symbian OS is.

I've been using Geocaching Live on my 5800 for a few months now, and am just about to give up on it. I find it unreliable and frustrating. When I ask it to download caches, sometimes it does it quickly, and sometimes (more often than not) I'm still waiting 20 minutes later, after repeatedly re-trying. Maps are slow to load as well, even when I'm in good cell coverage and have a good GPS fix. It's like there's some kind of blockage somewhere that just stops everything. Pity, because when it works, it does what I need. But not when I need it. Has anyone else found it unreliable ?
