I know a few.. others I have no idea... thanks! (3rd day at Geocaching!) Edited December 2, 2009 by zen2zen Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
jholly's provided link is a good one. Keep in mind though, these "abbreviations" are being coined all the time as people look for ways to shorten their typing efforts. You'll pick up many new ones here in the forum, but when they start giving you a headache, take a break. I'm off for a nap, now. Quote Link to comment

+okie-wan
And when everybody has this new lingo all "knowed-up" and we're all comfy using it, why we're changing it all to Italian! At least I'll have a fighting chance this time around! Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
I think uses of this type (kind) has been around for an amount of time (thanks primarily to that four-letter word, gov't). However, the explosion in it's usage appears to be expanding use of texting in cell phones and like devices. Many of us old geezers don't cotton much to it , so we just say: IMHO, GMAB!
