What I have done is go back to the cache to drop off trade items or if that isn't practical, then pay it forward to another cache. Quote Link to comment
+J10fly Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 I would double check it just to be safe and make sure you aren't typing in zero's instead of O's, 8 instead of B or vice versa. Some letters and numbers can be hard to decipher on the coins. Check the cache inventory online just to make sure it isn't in the inventory and that you have the numbers/letters correct. The only time I have seen unactivated coins in a cache is for the First To Find when it's a brand new cache. If it truly is unactivated I would activate it and send it on a mission! +Eartha Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 The last cache you found has a bunch of geocoins listed in it. Are you sure you have the tracking number right? Check the lists on the cache you found it in, and see if it is any of those. Quote Link to comment

It happens but it's a lot easier to mistake a 1 for an I or and 8 for a B or a Q or an O for a 0 when the letters are so dinky tiny on some coins. Quote Link to comment
