Well I spent the evening activating some new coins and sending out adoptions. If you got an adopted coin from some one other than TJed it would be nice if you took a page out of his book and add this to the description.

I HAVE ADOPTED A FEW COINS AND NOW IM UP TO 8 OF THEM I JUST ORDERED SOME COINS THE OTHER NIGHT AND WAITING ON THEM TO GET HERE AND AS I TOLD TENESSEE JED I WILL HAVE A COUPLE UP FOR GRABS WHEN I GET THEM IN I WILL UP DATE WHEN I GET THE COINS IN. ALSO ANY COINS THAT WER DONATED TO ME I MENTIONED THE PERSONS NAME THAT DONATED THE COIN AND ALSO EVEN THE ONES THAT DIDNT HAVE IT I MADE SURE ALL THE NAMES KEPT THE PIF.

hmm... is the deaf awareness still without someone to ask for it???? If this coin needs a daddy...

My mother doesn't hear well! She was ok but a doctor damaged her ears! She had an earacke (otitis) she went to a doctor and he told her that she had a smal problem with her ears! she had salt... I do not know how to say it.... I hope you understand.....

 

So, he did something.... well he was blowing hot air with preasure in my mother's ears! As a result... her ears were damaged and she lost her earing 70% in one ear and more in the other...

 

From that, we learned to speak louder and sometimes that's a problem because we do not understand that we speak so loud! Many times just to understand, she is reading our lips! She learned that by herself! She doesn't want to put a helper or something....it's her choise!

 

Anyway.... Can I ask something??? I saw your trackable list.... what is wrong with the 2008 Idaho geocoin icon???? It is huge!! it is at the bottom of the list of the coins you found in caches! Strange.....

Adoption requests have been sent out for these two coins. I think the Deaf Awarenss coin is a great coin to honor Nikos' mother.

 

I don't know what is going on with that icon. It must be that they have big feet in Idaho!!

when this happen, it was in the 1970's, probably in the first years....This "doctor" was the only one for ears etc in dodecanese!!!! So.... there was no complain etc for this damage... if it was in nowdays.... the guy would had faced justise.... He is dead now!

 

My mother remembers that she didn't complete the "treatment" because she couldn't stand it anymore! she was feeling dizzy couldn't stand....

The treatment complete was 8 visits.... se made 5...if she had all the treatment.... would the damage be 100%????
