but i was wanting to try something different.

i have alot of coins im going to give out 20 now and 20-30 at a later date

id like to try to give each person a coin they would like.

so if you would tell me what state or country you live in (incase i have one from that area)

or a couple of hobbies you have. i will see if i have anything per person that request a coin

if you dont really care and just want a coin to travel let me know that.

 

also im going to try to only give one coin per geocaching account and ask that if you have alot (say more than 10-15) coins please dont request one so the newer cachers have a chance. but if i dont give them out in a fast time frame then i will change it from there.

 

ALSO PLEASE REMEMBER IF YOU DELETE ALL OF THE LOGS ON THE COIN PAGE.

THEN EVERY ONE THAT HAS LOGGED THAT COIN LOOSES THEIR FIND AND ALL

OF THE MILES IT HAS TRAVLED ARE DELETED FROM THE COIN. SO ALL OF THE HISTORY OF THE COIN WILL BE GONE.

Thank you so much for the coin - you have no idea how perfect it is. My father bought a 4Runner in 1985 and proceeded to put over 250K miles on it. That 4Runner was my introduction to Jeeping the high roads around Ouray, CO. My brother still has that 4Runner - it is his hunting ride. If my adopted coin was last seen in the hands of the owner, and does not show it being in a cache...is it safe to say it hasnt been placed yet? Even though it was released earlier this month?

have you completed the adoption because it sounds like the person that adopted the coin to you still has it

if its showing in the hand of the owner. who does it show as the owner on the top of the coin page.

once it shows you as the owner you can change the mission and the rest of the page

i just looked at your profile page and it doesnt show you own a coin.

you may want to contact the person that adopted the coin to you so

they could send another adoption to you. or check your junk emails

to see if it was sent there or maybe you deleted the email

Hi, I have just started to get into geocaching. I have a few caches under my belt, but i haven't seen any coins or trackables in my area. I would love to get a coin or two started around here. i am looking to adopt if there are any willing parties out there. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, boating, and I live in Wisconsin.

I think this is amazing - and it will be interesting to look back in a few years time at the influence this had on the coin recipients. I remember that my first coin came from a kind soul like you (3Doxies) - and now we have a good number of coins.

I would love to adopt one. I'm from Missouri, KC area, My primary hobby is that I am a Trail Runner which is how I got started in Caching. I learned about this from a friend while running and have found cache's in 4 States while traveling to running events. I just moved several trackables this afternoon from Iowa and Wisconsin to Missouri and Kansas. If you can hook me up with a coin, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm anxious to see where it ends up.

We'd like to adopt a coin if there's any still looking for a host family! The kids recently got back into it, we got a new gps, and we've actually contacted someone in Norway who caches, and we're sending one of our TBs there to travel. (they call them reisevenner; "travel friends") Have been looking in several local caches, all which are supposed to have bugs, and all seem to be missing. very frustrating. we love to watch them travel. We're in NY, and like sailing, paddling, girl scouts, trumpets & french horns! Thanks!
