kamloopsgirl
I am new to geocaching and would love to have someone show me the ropes, I have a garmin, went out on sunday and spent 4 hours in the bush, didn't find a thing, obviously I'm doing something wrong. If you don't live in Kamloops and can help here that would be great as well. What I'm wanting to know is how to read the darn thing mostly, I can follow the arrow but as far as distance and time and roads I am clueless. Thanks V Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Which Garmin GPS? Quote Link to comment
crawil
You would be better off posting in a local forum where you can find someone that would be willing to go out with you. Also, there is an event in Salmon Arm (GC1Z4E4) on the 14th where you would find lots of folks willing to assist. Quote Link to comment

LordEd
Hey I'm from Kelowna but we cache in Kamloops a lot. Which ones were you trying to find? Also there's a local geocaching group that meets regularly. You can find them at www.interiorgeocaching.com If you're ever in the Kelowna area give me a shout and myself and LordEd can show you the ropes. Quote Link to comment
