+aronnie
Just bought an iPod Touch 3rd generation and installed Air Sharing, now I'm able to have my pocket queries with me in html format, just like viewing the cach pages on geocache.com. This iPod Touch is sweet, it has iPhone software and will do about everything the iPhone will do except make cell phone calls, you can store Songs, Video, surf the web, get and send e-mail AND store cache page in html format and it has Bluetooth but haven't figured it out yet. Now I need to do a tutorial on it so I don't forget how to set it back up if something happens and I need to redo it. Does anyone else use the iPod Touch for caching? Quote Link to comment

+bravo872
IPOD TOUCH with a MIFI card = AMAZING I also use a app called geosphere! The possibilities are endless.... with a mifi card you have internet access everywhere and its about the size of a credit card with only one button.... with the ipod touch you could be climbing the side of a mountain and still be able to access all info about the cache all of it it up to date and accurate.... use any program similar to geosphere pull up a satellite image of the area the cache is in .....enter your coordinates and see where you are compared to ground zero... its sometimes possible to cache without a GPS or in places with no GPS signal.... I just keep finding uses for it. This set up is also handy when not caching!!!! P.S. I am on vacation so I posted this from my laptop and MIFI card. +skeezicks
I also use my iPod touch for paperless caching. It is so much easier then printing all of the cache pages out. I use the igeocacher app and have had no problems at all. Quote Link to comment
+The Caching Coulters
I've been using the touch and air share for a while now but I always seem to have problems connecting to the touch. I'm thinking of trying Geosphere. Either way is better than printing all that paper! Quote Link to comment
