+Jean&Jim Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I have two PQ’s that last ran a month ago. I resubmitted them for today, one ran at 12:04 this morning and the other is waiting. On the other hand, the My Finds PQ ran promptly after I requested it at 5 something also this morning. Has the PQ engine sputtered and halted? Jim
+Lydford Locators Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 We've tried to run two yesterday and two today - none have worked (yet). Good job it tipped it down with rain.
+hallycat Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I have 3 that usually come together in the wee hours, only one came.
+tozainamboku Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) I have 3 that usually come together in the wee hours, only one came. Same here. Perhaps the server didn't like it when the clocks were set back an hour? Edited November 1, 2009 by tozainamboku
+Cache O'Plenty Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Same here - two of four scheduled PQs arrived. Still waiting for the other two.
+MickEMT Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I'm also waiting on a some of my scheduled PQ's.
+GrandpaKim Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Add me to the list of users waiting on their PQs.
+fegan Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Add me to the list. I normally get 4 PQs on Sunday...two arrived 4:15AM, the other two still haven't arrived. Could this have something to do with the time change?
+beejay&esskay Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Some of my "old" PQs have run as expected today, but others do not seem to run. (I first noticed this last night.) If I make a copy of them, the "new" one runs immediately.
+Michael Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 One of the PQ servers was down. It has been restarted and the PQs should begin to go out again soon.
+OienLabs Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 No PQ's No Insta-notifies A few owners logs What the heck is going on?? Chapter 11 or what? Must be much more than 1 PQ server down. Where is QA?
+wandering4cache Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Same here. 2 arrived just after midnight. Still waiting on the other 3 at 7:30pm -- even after the server restart.
Skippermark Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Haven't received mine yet either. I'm guessing it's just backed up.
+Stunod Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Only 2 of my 5 scheduled PQs for today had run, so I unchecked the ones that hadn't run yet and copied them to new PQs. Those ran instantly.
Skippermark Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Thanks for the suggestion, Stunod. Did it and they arrived within a minute.
+hallycat Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 You know, every time this happens the time that they run gets pushed back and pushed back. THAT is what is annoying, not so much the fact that they didn't run.
+MickEMT Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Used the copy function and got my missing PQ's. I have notcied that I'm not getting some of my emails either. Only some of the instant notifications, and no "new post" notifications for the forums.
+Cache O'Plenty Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) Still waiting on two PQs at 0845. If not run soon, they will impact the four scheduled for tomorrow...... Edit - just noticed that the forum time is still set for PDT, not PST. Edited November 2, 2009 by Cache O'Plenty

Edit - just noticed that the forum time is still set for PDT, not PST. Do you have the adjust for DST time box checked on board settings? I do and my time displays correctly. +sduck Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 It's Monday. Still haven't gotten 3 of the 4 pq's scheduled for Sunday. Will I ever get them?
+UT Explore Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Add me to the list of those waiting. Got 2 of 5 on Sunday. Only got 2 (of 5) this morning. Usually get them all at the same time.
+Frank Broughton Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 It's Monday. Still haven't gotten 3 of the 4 pq's scheduled for Sunday. Will I ever get them? I would say no. I did not get mine from yesterday either, yet got one from today - so far. Oh well, no biggie - catch them on the rebound!
CLV3 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I have not gotten any and tried to create a couple of new ones based on a route I have planned and I can not connect to view the PQ.
+JBnW Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Same here. Tried to run two non-scheduled PQs Saturday evening, when they hadn't come by Sunday morning, rest to run Sunday. Now it's Monday and no PQs. Hoping the third try works, they'll be needed for a trip soon.
+GrandpaKim Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Same here. Still waiting on 3 PQs from Sunday and now I'm waiting on 2 from today, Monday.
+sduck Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) Status update - just got the missing 3 from yesterday, got 2 of the 4 that are due today. I guess all will well in the end (whatever happens). Edit - everything's here now. Yay! Edited November 2, 2009 by sduck
+Egnix Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm still waiting on 1 from yesterday and 1 for today.
+Cache O'Plenty Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Just got yesterday's missing two PQs. And I already got today's regular three PQs. I'm now up-to-date!!! Yeah!
+Egnix Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm still waiting on 1 from yesterday and 1 for today. I got today's so I canceled yesterday's. I think it's unfortunate that queries seem to be tied to specific server. If a server goes down it would be really nice for another server to pick up the slack.
Skippermark Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I never knew that. That may explain why the PQs I tried to generate earlier never went through, and the ones I copied later on and told to run, ran within a minute. The new ones were probably on a different server.
+WeightMan Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I never knew that. That may explain why the PQs I tried to generate earlier never went through, and the ones I copied later on and told to run, ran within a minute. The new ones were probably on a different server. Don't forget that new PQs go to the front of the queue.
JustWannaCache Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I have a number of regularly scheduled PQs, but turned them all off for a few days so that I could run some specific ones for a trip I am about to embark on. When I logged in last night to run the ones I wanted, 4 of them, 2 of them ran instantly, and the other 2 didn't run until about 5 AM today. So they count against today's total. What a bunch of crap!!
+RoPeHe Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 One of the PQ servers was down. It has been restarted and the PQs should begin to go out again soon. Is there any easy way to determine which PQs go to which server - perhaps from the query name or number. It looks as if a given PQ always goes to to the same server so, if that server is down, it will not run, even if it is resubmitted.
+RoPeHe Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Have the PQ servers broken again? Just asking the question was enough to get them going again, it seems! []
