+ZeroHecksGiven
I have a friend who works at a pool store and can hook me up with the pH test strips by the box. Very cool. Obviously they have kits as well. I remember reading somewhere previously about some earth caches starting to test other balances in the water. Can anyone tell me what are the major tests besides pH that are uesed in earth caches? All the ones local to me are pH, but I'd like to have it in case I run into one out of town at some point. thanks! (I tried to search, but the five letter limit was tough on this one) Quote Link to comment
+Beleman
Can anyone tell me what are the major tests besides pH that are uesed in earth caches? I'm working at one or two Earth Caches with a test for determination of water hardness. In some cases tests for ferrite (in ferreous water) or nitrate should be possible. Quote Link to comment
+Team Shiney
Nessler tubes could be used for testing for color. But they are rather expensive. We have spring that change color based on the amount of rain that washes in tannin. Quote Link to comment
