+clockdoc52
Hi! Maybe you could help me out or put me in contact with someone that can. My name is Larry Cooper. I am an elementary teacher near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania of the United States. For a third grade class project, we would love to place our activated travel bugs in a geocaches throughout different countries in South Africa and other parts of the African continent. We would love these travel bugs to move across your country so we can learn more about your beautiful country plus some world geography. If you can take pictures for us along its way, we would be grateful. We would love to hear from any teacher or anyone that might want to help us out and we would reciprocate the idea for you or a class and place a travel bug sent to us. Thank you from a fellow geocacher and teacher, clockdoc52 * You don't have to be a teacher to help me...I would appreciate any geocacher that would be willing to place a travel bug for us! +Tricky Vicky & Mickey
Hi ClockDoc! Nice to see you on our forums again. Do hope Bunny is still doing well, touring around our country - we so enjoyed our time with him. If you need help with a second one, we are always willing to assist. Quote Link to comment
+Carbon Hunter
Great clockdoc. I'm actually in the process of doign something similar for my sons school in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). Could you send me some of the material (or links) that I could let the teachers know about how to use it in their curriculum. Would be happy to release a bug in the Middle East if you like - and I travel to Cairo regularly too. Quote Link to comment
+Skyjuggler
Hi Clockdoc I'm more than willing to help where I can and obviously should your TB's arrive at the East coast I'll do all I can to keep them moving and add a bit of info wherever I can. In terms of reciprocating the effort, my mom too is the equivalent of an elementary teacher here. Although she broadly understands what we do, she struggles a bit with the technical aspect (eg. turning on the computer:) I'll pitch it to her and see if I can get her interested... Sounds like a great innovation, well done! Quote Link to comment
