+Six Little Spookies
The holy grail of geocoins. Are there still a few sitting out in unfound caches, or maybe hiding in the drawer of a cacher who has since quit caching? Maybe at the bottom of a kids toybox somewhere? Quote Link to comment
Odyssey Voyager
tracking all 200 pieces would make a great geocaching documentary adventure! although, finding the holy grail may be more easily accomplished. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
A little research help for you. Pre-Icon list. Quote Link to comment
+RifleMan81
The closest I've ever come to one is a Moun10Like coin. I'd love to see one someday. Quote Link to comment

+Kealia
#168 here. I've held # 100, too. I didn't look at the list that Eartha posted from him his trackable page but I highly doubt there is still one in a cache anywhere. A few years ago there was a rush to get these (again) and people starting emailing every holder asking the same questions that you are (is it in somebody's hands that isn't caching anymore, in a kids drawer, etc.) I would be shocked to see one these change hands at this point unless somebody was in dire straits (but that's another can of worms). +Team Professor X
Well I have #178 And #2? I'am still searching all those years the caches for one of it. But Europe is far, far away, even for Moun10Bike(s) Quote Link to comment
Odyssey Voyager
awesome! the moun10bike would definately be in the main attraction at the smithsonian! would anyone here ever donate their version to the smithsonian some day? +Team Sand Dollar
#71 Found it in a cache on 3/17/02 and refered to it as a geocache metal in my log. TSD Quote Link to comment
+avroair
Are there still a few sitting out in unfound caches Nope. Or maybe hiding in the drawer of a cacher who has since quit caching? Yep. Quite a few geocoin collectors have done research to track down the whereabouts to v1 MBs with varying results... generally it's considered bad form to pester people. Quote Link to comment
+avroair
Well I know where two of them are... and I know 15 cachers who have them. Quote Link to comment
+Minimike2
These are like the Jeep coins, keepable and not moveable? Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
No, these are not like the Jeeps at all. Moun10Bike is one of the very first geocoins ever. They are produced by a cacher, and sent out by him alone. These are not a corporate promotion. Moun10Bike is one of the earliest geocaching members. It's his personal geocoin, and he had a non-trackable version, then came out with several other versions. There are not that many, and that is why people want them. Moun10Bike does not want people to sell his geocoins, they were not made for that purpose, and they are all still owned by him, under his profile. Quote Link to comment
+JoenGPS
Well I know where two of them are... and I know 15 cachers who have them. Let us know...we will see if they are still there... Quote Link to comment
+Bhob
just when you start to think that something is very unlikely . . . check the recent log entries for TBNV6M Quote Link to comment
+gardengorilla
I can account for not having one, but should the opportunity ever arise...you will be the first to know! Quote Link to comment
+tsunrisebey
Sigh ... although I did meet him and trade for a V3 Guess that's better than nothing and totally not related to the original question. Quote Link to comment
+Greenish
I have never seen one. But I do have a v3, which I think is the prettiest of them all - and the most important thing Quote Link to comment
+RifleMan81
I like the v4 design too. Quote Link to comment
+GATOULIS
Oh... I have never seen one from close and I do not think I will ever see or have in my collection.... they are so pretty.... I am wondering... did any of the V1 even get in Europe?? I do not know for the other versions too... but I do not think V1 ever made it!!! I was wondering... the V1 were not trackable... so.... if you were lucky enough to find one you were keeping it??? And... for the other versions.... They have goals, right? you can not keep any if you find them, but they are made to travell.... so the ones for a collection are gifted from Moun10bike himself?? Well... I do not think any geocacher would sell this coin.... but on the other hand... you never know how life is... Quote Link to comment

I hold #193, one of the last v1 coins given out by Moun10Bike as a gift, which I received during a day of cache hunting on Whidbey Island, Washington. It's most definitely trackable, and most definitely not for sale. Just like every other Moun10Bike coin. Edited October 24, 2009 by The Leprechauns Quote Link to comment

I thought that the first moun10bike coin was a kind of a signature item, a non trackable one!!! Thank you my friend and congrats for having such a great coin!!! Quote Link to comment
aniyn
I know where 2 of them are. I wish I'd known about geocaching back when these things were in circulation, as there were a couple in striking distance. Maybe if I play my cards right they'll let me discover one of them Quote Link to comment
+MtnMutt-ProDuckShins
Sad to say I had #146 in 2004, did not know you could keep them. Place it in one of my caches and within a week the cache disappeared. I think I found one during a winter cache hunt and dropped it in the snow and never found it. In the beginning I did not realize you could even discover them. Some day I may see another until then, I can say my mistake. Quote Link to comment
