+DENelson83
I've wanted to add coloured text to a log on a cache's webpage, but I don't know how to do that. I've tried '<font color=""></font>', but that's stripped out, and I've tried '', but the site ignores that. Does anybody here know how to put coloured text into a log? Link to comment

I don't recall seeing a log in color. Here's a log that uses a touch of colour. Just a touch of colour - we don't like to overdo such things "Bringing a little colour to a log." MrsB Link to comment
knowschad
Adding color (or any other text formatting) to a log is done in exactly the same way that you would do it in the forums... by the use of "bbcode" tags, which are similar, but not the same as, HTML tags. The difference is that the forum has a toolbar for adding the codes with the click of a button, but there is nothing stopping you from typing them in manually. Be aware, though, that the emailed version of the logs will show the literal tags, and not the formatting itself. Link to comment

It uses its own format, which is simply the color name, no "font=" or "color=". Of course, you have to know which of the hundreds of html named colors are the magic 17 that are recognized by the GC log parser. Easiest way to add styles and colors to logs is to just install this script. Link to comment
