+BareFeat Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 A friendly reminder: MassGeo and volunteers will be cleaning up the USACOE trails and fishing areas at Long Pond in Sturbridge Massachusetts this Saturday October 10th. Get there a bit early and have a coffee and discover/drop TB's. Long Pond is a popular family recreation area that can use a little TLC. We are planning this cleanup to thank the USACOE for all the properties and time that they put into them for us the geocachers, as well as campers, hikers, disc golfers, fisherman... the list goes on. Donate as much time as you can and then explore for the new Winter Friendly Geocaches in the area, which will be released the day after the event.
