I thought that simply moving the bug and logging the move was enough, but I didn't know what to do with that tracking code on the dog tag. I chose not to write it down, because I thought I just needed that "TB" code to post the online log properly, and it came back to bite me in the rear, finding out too late that the "TB" or "reference code" is not the same as the tracking code, which is what you actually need to prove that you found the bug. There are some pinned threads that can help you too. If you moved the TB and cannot log it, post a note to both the TB page, and the cache you left it in, so people will know. You can also contact the owner through their profile page and ask for the tracking number, and hope they are still active. Quote Link to comment
