I see the Dark Knight has been traveling! whilst on road trip in Queensland, we pulled up our tin can caravan of courage beachside for the (k)night...as I was sitting there in the dark watching the stars a flock of gulls flew right over me....but wait! those are funny shaped gull wings....holey moley batman.. those are bats! Such an extraordinary event to see thousands of huge fruit bats migrating from the hills/mountain caves to the ocean front during their nightly feeding session. the kids, who were on the beach (yes in the dark) witnessed an amazing event as they saw the whole crowd/herd/group? of bats on their way down from the hills. This is something I bet they'll never forget Quote
