+shawnatee
Hi, I am brand new to geocaching/gps and am new to the website. When I bring up the home page of geocaching.com there are coordinates in the box that allows you to search for geocaches. These coordinates are totally wrong for where I actually live. Where does the site pull this information from? I would love it to be correct so I don't have to always type in the actual coordinates. Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
That looks like it's taking it from your home coordinates. Do you have your home coords set? http://www.geocaching.com/account/ManageLocations.aspx Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
If you don't have home coordinates (or if you're logged out) the system seems to default to zip code 98103, Seattle's zip code. If you're logged in and have your home coordinates set correctly, it should use those. As Blue Deuce said, use this page to update the coordinates. Quote Link to comment
