What's the most remote inhabited location on Earth?

Homer, AK is where the blacktop ends. It's the furthest west you can drive on the road system and home of a cool geological feature: the Homer Spit, home of the world's longest road into the ocean. Oddly enough, there is no EarthCache there at this point.

There is, however, an EarthCache in Homer featuring bogs, kames, and kettles. Haven't visited it yet, but it's on my list for next summer.
