+wimseyguy Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Any way some body posted a log saying they had found the cache but not not signed the log book as it was full. I had that morning replaced the log book . So I emailed him pointing out the log book was fresh that morning and I might have to delete his log. Out of curiosity - were you tempted to delete the log just because the logbook hadn't been signed, or because you doubted the cache had actually been found? The statement that the logbook was full was not true so I had doubts as to whether the cache had actually been found! Is it possible that they were there a few days before you replaced the log, and are just now getting around to posting logs? I haven't posted mine from last Sunday yet. Quote
+OldLog Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Life is too short to be bothered by the small stuff. In the scheme of things it's all small stuff Quote
+TeamAH3 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Ever got into it with another geocacher? Tempting to everytime I see a political opinion signature here. Dunno why some people can't enjoy a bit of discussion without shouting "Bush/Obama (delete-as-obsessively-opinionated) is the worst thing ever to happen to America" afterwards. Quote
AZcachemeister Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I am married to 'another Geocacher', so naturally we 'get into it' all the time. Of course we also 'get into it' even more often. Quote
+SOLONM Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Ever get into it with another geocacher. Issues with deleted logs, cachers muggling caches, or just anything? I figure it happens all the time when you are fishing is a small pond LOL!! I guess it is your choice where you are going to fish!! Filter out those caches & go somewhere else where it makes you happy... Quote
+Sioneva Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Yes, once, over a disputing FTF log (I wasn't the one doing the disputing.) It's why I generally avoid caching in Iowa past Council Bluffs, unless I'm with a group. Caching with friends always trumps any other considerations! Quote
+MercRocks Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Back ground; Cache owner from out of town, has a bunch of caches around skateboard parks all over the province. After a bunch of DNF's archives the cache. I post a note saying with something like " not surprised that cache is archived without even being checked on, that's why they have an able to maintain rule" Recieved this "Log Date: 9/26/2009 Keep your #@$%ing $#%^&*% comments off of my cache pages this isn't a %$#&ing forum. Maybe if you had a brain you would realize circumstances change and this is a GAME. Sorry, real life sometimes comes first." Wow Sure tempting to get in a flame war, but true it is just a game... Yeah, that's a good one to let slide into oblivion. Quote
Exsiiron Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I'm just tempted to sometimes. Like when a hider emails you and says something like: "You didn't log my cache right!". I've done nothing wrong. Well, like a few people said, it's better if we just keep these posts happy. Exsiiron ------------------------ (and don't forget it.) Quote
