knowschad
Sunday, Sept 13, 2009 South-West Review Police Blotter, West St Paul - A resident thought he spotted a couple trying to seal a payphone on Rober Street South and Signal Hills Drive on Sept 7. The couple was actually recovering a geo cache marker. The log: We were wishing the silly phone would ring...giving us a hint. Instead a West St. Paul Police Officer stopped by as we were 'feeling up' the phone. Someone had reported us...thinking we were trying to steal the phone! At least they didn't blow up the phone ! (the pay phone in question, by the way, has long been inoperable) Quote Link to comment

+geodarts
This seems to happen fairly often. At least these cachers had not damaged the phone Edited September 17, 2009 by Erickson Quote Link to comment
