+dad-and-ash
I have 3 TB's that I want to take with me on a trip to New York. I want them to start the mileage close to my house. So my question is: When I log a find do show them as dropped then relog the cache as found again and show that I've taken them from it? Quote Link to comment

So my question is: When I log a find do show them as dropped then relog the cache as found again and show that I've taken them from it? Log a Found it and select the bugs to be Dropped. Or post a Note if you are revisiting a cache. Then access the bug page and copy off the tracking number, select Add a log entry and Retrieve the bug back out of the cache. That's it! +Smilin222
I did that when I released my first travel bug a few months ago and was getting frustrated that it still didn't have any miles after I did it - I had "dropped" it in a cache near my house and then in a cache near my friends house 50 miles away so it should have had about 50 miles on it but it was 0 - then my friend said - "You need to recalculate your miles" and I was like - how in the heck do you do that? and he told me about the drop down menu under the Trackable Items Options box - I had never noticed it there before - boom, I suddenly had 53 miles on my TB I'm just adding this for anyone else who may have never noticed the drop down menu and didn't know they could recalculate their miles Quote Link to comment
